Toyota Rush was recently launched in the Philippines and with its arrival were raised many eyebrows. Spectators and auto junk started debating about its success quotient in the market. As to whether or not Filipinos should invest in the new Rush?

Does it have the potential to become the next Toyota Vios for the Japanese brand? With only three months down in the business, saying something for sure is not possible. However, what can be done is a thorough inspection of the car, and search for the elements that can support its long and healthy hail.

There’s no doubt that when it comes to the Philippines, Toyota is the brand leader. Anything with a Toyota badge does well here. So, we are pretty sure Rush has all sorted for itself. Also, the Rush is expected to carry a high resale value.

Starting with the basics, the Toyota Rush is available in two variants both powered by a 1.5-litre 4-Cylinder, In-line, 16 Valve DOHC engine. It delivers a maximum power of 102 PS at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm at 4200 rpm. Thanks to its small turning radius, the Rush is pretty to ride around.
