Toyota Rush was recently launched in the Philippines and with its arrival were raised many eyebrows. Spectators and auto junk started debating about its success quotient in the market. As to whether or not Filipinos should invest in the new Rush?
Does it have the potential to become the next Toyota Vios for the Japanese brand? With only three months down in the business, saying something for sure is not possible. Starting with the basics, the Toyota Rush is available in two variants both powered by a 1.5-litre 4-Cylinder, In-line, 16 Valve DOHC engine. It delivers a maximum power of 102 PS at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm at 4200 rpm. Thanks to its small turning radius, the Rush is pretty to ride around.
5. Impressive features
Toyota Rush comes with a rear-wheel drive setup which promises fun both on- and off-road. Taking care of the driver and passengers are Rush all-round safety features that include six airbags, ABS, secured hill start assist, robust vehicle stability control, and seven-seat belt indicators. Lastly, keeping up with on the amenity front is the smart entry push start engine button.
